1) Do Not Use Too Much Baby Powder
Although it is crucial to use baby powder or similar to use as a lubricant when shaving your genitals and for men the abdominal area, using too much baby powder is not recommended. The reason is if you apply to much baby powder and start shaving, your shavers foil can get clogged from the baby powder. All you end up doing is moving the shaver over your skin with a blockage of baby powder in between you and the rotating razor. The way I apply baby powder is put some into my hands and then rub it on to my shaving areas until I have a lighter shaving area not a WHITER shaving area. Doing this will allow the shavers foil to get at those nasty hairs you want gone! The illustration below shows how much is too much and what amount you should apply.
Too Much!

Although it's hard to notice, the left side shows how much baby powder should be applied and the right side has none.

2) Trim Those Hairs To A Fine Stubble
The Body Bare shaver is designed to give you the most smooth and un-irritated shave ever. In order to accomplish this, the shaver is designed to cut fine hairs no more then 1mm thick. Any longer and you will find your not getting all the hair cut. Why? Because your hairs need to be standing straight up for the shaver to get close enough to cut. When you hair starts to grow back it will grow in the direction it was meant for. It could be laying flat on your skin or on an angle. Either way if you hair is growing in any direction then straight up, the shaver will have a hard time cutting them. I use the Ladyfair trimmer which comes FREE with a Shaver purchased from my site to get those hairs down to a fine stubble. The illustration below shows what lengths of hair you should have to get the best shave.
In this illustration, there is too much hair to use the Body Bare shaver and needs to be trimmed.

This illustration shows the perfect length to use the Body Bare shaver. I trimmed these pubic hairs with the LadyFair trimmer.

3)Shave As Often As You Do Your Legs Or Face!
I'm assuming that you would shave your legs or face every 2 to 3 days apart. If not then at least shave your pubic area every 2 to 3 days. Why? As you shave more often you can actually train your hairs to grow straight up making it easier to shave as months go on. Also shaving every 2 to 3 days means NO MORE TRIMMING! It takes 2-5 minutes to shave my wife's vagina and pubic area and about the same time to shave my genitals, pubic area and abdominal area. That's because we have done it so often and so frequent that our hairs grow back straight up and easy for the shaver to trim.

4) Proper Angle and Motion Will Speed Your Shaving Time
When I first bought my Personal Shaver. I used it like a razor. Straight down and straight strokes. Well when it comes to using a rotary shaver, its a lot different then a "straight" razor. First of all tilt your shaver from a straight 90 degree to an angle at about 60 to 70 degree as if you were using vacuum as demonstrated in this illustration.

Finally use a circular motion instead of a straight motion if your finding you have more flatten hairs on your skin then straight standing up hairs.
5) Stretching and Pinching Your Skin Will Get Even The Hardest Hairs.
It's no brainer to shave against the grain as you would when shaving legs, arm pit, face and so on. But when it comes to shaving your abdominal, pubic area, vagina and testicles, shaving against the grain is just not enough. You can use stretching and pinching techniques to get those stubborn hairs.
In this illustration you can see how you can pull back the skin (stretching) allowing the hairs to raise better for the shaver to cut.

In this illustration you can see how pinching a bit of skin can also help getting those stubborn hairs cut.

6) FOR WOMEN ONLY
Pubic Zone - As you can see in the illustration above, the woman's pubic zone hairs grow in a shape like a tree. Starting from the bottom center point, your hairs sprout up. When you get your pubic hairs trimmed to a stubble and your desired shape if you are leaving a trim, pull back you skin in the direct that your hair would grow and in circular motions. In circular motions work your way up from the bottom center of your pubic to the end of your pubic zone (close to your legs) as shown in this illustration.

Vagina - If you have a trusting partner, you may want them to help you. If not, it may be a little tricky getting all the hairs so I suggest having a little mirror with you. To get the best trim and shave, using your thumb and finger, stretch your outer vagina lips known as the Labia Majora as shown with the arrows in the following illustration.

Doing this will allow you to get even hidden hairs close to your inner vagina lips known as the Labia Minora. Be sure to follow against the grain of your vagina hair growth when trimming and shaving. This illustration shows a good direct to shave in circular motions.

Anus - The anus is actually not to hard at all. Generally most women only grow a little hair around the anus. The real tricky part is trying to see it if your not that flexible.
7) FOR MEN ONLY
Chest & Abdominal - The chest and abdominal area is generally not as sensitive as the lower regions, so you can trim your hairs to a stubble using the same electric razor as you would use trimming your beard, side burns and so on. The Ladyfair is a good choice as well. Using the Body Bare shaver after you trim, shave against the grain in circular motions. I find using the stretching techniques as mentioned earlier to be great to get the smoothest shave.
Pubic Area - Most mens pubic hairs grow facing down. Using a good trimmer like the Ladyfair, trim your pubic hair down to a stubble. You may want to use the Feminine trimmer which is more gentle for hairs around the base of your penis. Once your to a fine stubble, Use the Body Bare and move up towards your abdominal area which is going against the grain of your hair growth. You can use the stretching technique to get a good smooth shave as illustrated below.

Penis - Some men have more hair then average growing up the base of their penis. I STRONGLY recommend you use ONLY the Feminine trimmer to trim your penis hairs, then use the Body Bare shaver. Yes the Body Bare is safe on your penis. It won't bite!
Testicles (Scrotum) - This is considered the most popular area men shave. Many men actually shave nothing more then their scrotum. Before you attempt to do any trimming and shaving on your scrotum area, make sure your scrotum is tight as illustrated below.

You can make a nice tight scrotum by getting yourself aroused first. Have a loose scrotum makes it almost impossible to get a got trim and shave. With a tight scrotum, use only the sensitive trimmer like the Feminine trimmer to trim the long hairs, then use the Body Bare shaver. You will learn new techniques in which way to move the shaver as more often you shave.
